Randy Travis Worship & Faith CD

I have been sitting here listening to Randy Travis' Worship & Faith CD and there is nothing like getting in touch with God from whereever you are and getting refocused on what this life is really about. It is all about Jesus. It always has been and always will. Never about us should we forget that daily. It is all about how we worship Him daily as we go through our lives with others. Please pick up this CD if you haven't already done so. It has "Love Lifted Me", Just a Closer Walk with Thee", and "Turn Your Radio On" which are a few of my favorites.

Thankyou for subscribing!
God Bless!

Jesus Thinks I am to Die For

I may not be perfect, but Jesus thinks I am to die for! Facebook verse of the day – “For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear, I will help you.” – Isaiah 41:13

My daughter recently attended Vacation Bible School at a local church, which I love. I love the people and how they are more sincere, honest. She learned that Jesus loved her so much he died for her. She learned that whenever she needs help, she not only can ask her parents and teachers but she can ask God and Jesus as well.

My daughter is five years old. This was her first time attending Vacation Bible School and she loved it. She came home everyday elated that she learned something new about God and Jesus in a fun easy to learn and understanding way. She would tell me, “Mommy, all we have to do is pray if we are sad because Jesus loves us and can help make us happy if we just pray to Him.”

It’s just amazing and wonderful how children can relate to things. How they believe in the impossible and their imaginations carry them away to any place they can dream up. It’s amazing how a five year old can understand and trust in God to take her hand and help her show love to others. While we adults are not so trusting. We adults lost our innocence long ago and hard work and responsibilities have made us lose our way. We are not so easy to trust others even when they show us a kindness.

Has the times changed us so much that we can’t or won’t believe in the Power of Prayer anymore? Where it takes the voice of a child to realize just how much innocence we lost. A voice so small that we usually ignore but maybe we shouldn’t. Maybe we should start seeing the world through the eyes of our children once more. Maybe we should all have a little more faith and trust in God and in ourselves. Maybe, just maybe we all should pray a little more.
